As a Consultant for the Training on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and New Technology Trends in Business, organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), I contributed to building the capacity of entrepreneurs, business leaders, and policymakers in understanding the transformative impact of AI and emerging technologies on modern business models.
Held in Harare, Zimbabwe, the training focused on equipping participants with the knowledge and tools needed to harness AI-driven innovation while navigating associated intellectual property (IP) considerations. I delivered expert insights on the strategic integration of AI in business processes, the role of data in value creation, and the importance of IP protection in tech-driven ecosystems.
My facilitation emphasized practical applications of AI across sectors, innovation trends shaping global markets, and the critical role of IP in commercializing technological solutions. The training contributed to WIPO’s broader mission to support innovation-led development and strengthen the innovation capacity of African nations.
